Help Support Environmental Activism in the FSU

Group of Russian activists holding signs protesting recent environmental legislation.
From Sakhalin Island in the Russian Far East, across Siberia and Central Asia, to Kyiv and the Caucasus, ISAR worked for more than 20 years to facilitate grassroots social change in Eurasia. In that time, ISAR's supporters assisted a dynamic network of community leaders, activists, scholars and concerned individuals strengthening citizen participation and the nongovernmental sector in the former Soviet Union (FSU). ISAR cultivates links among American and Eurasian nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) working on critical environmental issues. Your tax-deductible support of ISAR contributes to environmental causes all over the former Soviet Union (FSU).

In December of 2005, ISAR closed its Washington, DC office due to a lack of general support funding, but there are still ISAR projects and other regional efforts that need your support. If you are interested in supporting ISAR's work in Belarus or have a project idea you think ISAR could be a part of, please contact Eliza Klose by e-mail at general@isar.org or by phone.

Also, please consider supporting one or more of the following organizations. All of these organizations have been long time partners and friends of ISAR and share ISAR's belief in the importance of on-the-ground work in the FSU.
