ISAR | Special Programs

The Open World Leadership Center program, sponsored by the Library of Congress, provides an opportunity for young Russian leaders to gain a first-hand view into American civil society, governance and rule of law, and system of democracy. In 2004 and 2005, ISAR received an Open World grant to conduct an orientation and hosting program focusing on environmental themes for Russian environmental professionals and to coordinate a hosting program for Lithuanians and Ukrainians on NGO development and sustainability.
